Germany - Magdeburg to Minden

There seem to be so many churches in Magdeburg and each one tells a story of the history of the city. This is the rear of St Johns Church. There has been a parish church on this site since 941 but this one replaced it in 1131. It is cross shaped with three naves built in the Romanesque style.
